O’ Canada….O! Canada…. Canada? Eh?
The weekend may have started earlier for some Feeders than it did for others but the outcome was the same for all Feeders alike. The Feeders took the Pitch Saturday morning at the 40th Annual SNAFU tournament (see Wikipedia for SNAFU under ‘Variations’, its appropriate) lining up against the Assassins (Winnipeg), the SOB’s (Winnipeg), and the Saracens (Winnipeg) on Sunday. There were many new and unfamiliar faces, which we hope to see again in Feeders gear. Surrounded by a host of young talent, the Feeders fought valiantly; most notably a tie against the champions of the cash tournament the hosting Saracens. The Sunday evening social will have to be a separate entry.

Feeders Out of Water? Maybe Not
The much anticipated moment has come and gone…. To the disbelief of many, the Feeders have entered and participated in their first 7’s tournament. Going 2 – 2 against some impressive competition at the Banshees Minnesota 7’s Qualifier; a young, yet knowledgeable side led by their leader Nate ‘Bacon’ Hainline let the Rugby community know that there is 7’s in St. Cloud Minnesota. Great job guys!

Congratulations!
The St. Cloud Rugby Club would like to congratulate one of our own; Josh ‘Sausage’ Saatzer and Nicole on their recent nuptials. We wish you the best!
Granite City Days
The Feeders participated in its first ever parade and festival at the St. Cloud Granite City Days the weekend of June 28/29. By all accounts both events were a huge success. I personally witnessed the booth setup on Sunday which attracted a lot of attention. Also check out the below link for pictures of the Feeders first float. Special thanks go out Trevor (Ginger), James (Frogger), and all the other people that put time and effort into making this event happen. Click Here for Pictures of the Float.
