St. Cloud Rugby Officer Position Description
- President
- Overall Management of the club
- Delegate and manage others in performance of their tasks
- Organize/Assemble/Oversee all SCRFC hosted tournaments
- Organize/Assemble/Oversee Annual SCRFC Awards banquet
- Organize/Assemble/Oversee all fund raising/sponsorship
- Arrange and facilitate meeting of the SCRFC officers
- In charge of relations with the City or any other Municipal organizations
- In charge of relation with the MNRFU, USA Rugby and any other
- Vice President
- Sergeant-At-Arms
- Collection of Dues and Sponsors
- Payment of Union Dues, Tournament Fees, etc…
- Enforcing
- Assist the President in his function as necessary
- Assume the role of Club President his/her absence
- Assume the role of Club Treasurer in his/her absence
- Secretary
- Maintain the club roster to include accurate names, addresses, home/work phone numbers and email addresses of current and past players
- Maintain and possess all documents, forms, and other paperwork necessary for the continued operation of the club
- Record and report minutes on all officer meetings
- Disseminate all necessary information to SCRFC players/fans (i.e. schedules, phone list, etc…).
- Update players in a timely fashion to any responsibilities that they may have in regards to competition related events.
- This includes match times and training schedule.
- This does not include specific events created by the other officers such as fund raisers, banquets and team meetings.
- Match Secretary
- Creation of Fall and Spring Schedule
- Coordination with opposing teams on all aspects of the match (i.e. referee, pitch, time, etc…)
- Update all officers in a timely fashion on all match related information (i.e. dates, times, directions, etc…)
- Specifically the Match Secretary needs to get all information to the Secretary so it can be communicated to players/fans.
- Webmaster
- Recruiting Officer (RO)
- In charge of all aspects of recruiting new players/fans.
- Will maintain a list of all potential recruits to include full name, phone number, address, email address and a brief description of the player and his/her current status in playing with the team
- Will be responsible for all new players contact until such point that both the Secretary and Recruiting Officer agree that he/she can be moved to the Secretary’s contact list.
- Pitch Master
- In charge of making our home pitch available and in good working condition given our home schedule.
- In charge of the storage and maintenance of any related equipment field equipment.
- Coach
- In charge of organizing and running all practices
- In charge of any related training equipment
- Treasurer
- Responsible for the handling of all the club’s finances to include the collection and payment of all monies.
- Yearly financial report on the club’s cash flow
