SCSU Alumni Lose to SCSU |

It was a beautiful day for rugby. Had a fairly decent turn out for the SCSU Alumni side. Good to see a lot of old Carp faces. The match stayed close throughout. Alumni scored early with some heavy inside running and pack play. They went up two tries. The Carp would then show their speed and put in four unanswered tries. The Alumni slowly started their comeback with some good ball control and lots of old man strength. In full time the Alumni would drive the ball down to the SCSU's teams 5 meter line just knock it on and have the young carp kick it out to win the match. Age prevailed over experience this day. Special note the reffing was outstanding. |

Pigs Lose Playoff Match |

Per Kato the pigs lost their playoff match this weekend to Cedar Rapids (away). Final score is 25 - 7. Sounds like the game was close then in the last 20 minutes of the game Cedar Rapids opened up. |
